Group of astronomical stereoscopic plates (1900-1906)
Stereoscopic astronomical photography of the 19th and early 20th century is an important and fascinating chapter in the application of stereoscopic photography to science. The FBS Foundation has photographic plates and hard copies of some of the most important pioneering astronomer-photographers, both in Europe and the United States.
