The VI Conference will be dedicated to the theme “Aragon and its photographic heritage, 1839-1945” and will be held on October 29, 30 and 31, 2025 at the headquarters of the Institución Fernando el Católico (IFC), in Zaragoza.

From July 2 to 4, 2025, Lisbon will host the 34th edition of the IPC, focusing on historical immersive visual technologies such as panoramas, peepshows and stereoscopy. A key meeting to explore the history of visual perception.

They aim to address the need to locate, identify and document the dispersed photographic heritage of Extremadura.

On Wednesday 20 November, the talk “Excursión y mecenazgo: hacia Extremadura con Clifford” with Lee Fontanella will take place at 19:00 h at the headquarters of Fundación CB (C/Montesinos, 22).

Esta 3ª edición arranca a mediados de octubre de 2024 tendrá el núcleo principal en la ciudad de Badajoz con actividades en diferentes salas de la ciudad.

Under the motto “Photojournalism,” fundamental questions will be addressed and various approaches to the history of photography will be explored. The fifth edition of the Conference on Research in the History of Photography. 1839-1939: a century of photography, which has been held biennially since 2015 in Zaragoza, is scheduled to take place on the 25, 26 and 27 of October 2023.
